Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was originally intended to include extra levels like Wood Zone and Hidden Palace Zone. The latter has been restored in a new official remaster of Sega’s 1992 platformer.

Runner2 will arrive on Vita next week, December 17. It will retail for $9.99 on the Vita, and PS Plus users can expect a 20% discount at launch paying $7.99 instead. Teslagrad lands on Steam for Linux, Mac and PC, Rain Games December 13 and upon that day, you can purchase the game through Teslagrad.com, GOG and Desura. To herald next week’s release, the launch trailer is posted below, introducing the viewer to the Tesla Tower where it’s revealed to the main character of the game that he is the last of his kind, a Teslamancer. Teslagrad will run you $9.99 in North America and €8.99/£6.99 in Europe. Console versions are on the way, with Wii U and PlayStation 3 versions available in 2014.

Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze will release in NA February 21, Reggie announced at VGX tonight. The game contains a playable Cranky Kong, who was outed earlier this week. This is the first time the old coot has been playable in a game. Cranky Kong can use his cane to bounce on enemies and over obstacles. It will also come with a Bramble Scramble level.

Knytt Underground, created by Nicklas ‘Nifflas’ Nygren, will be released on December 19 through the eShop, according to the game’s publisher, Ripstone. The Wii U port was developed by Mathias Kærlev, and is currently available for Linux, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Vita. The Wii U launch trailer is below.

Super Time Force, the insane time-traveling run’n gun platformer from Capybara Games, will release on Xbox One the firm has announced. It will be published via the ID@Xbox program, and to accommodate the Xbox One version, the release date has been moved to 2014. The game was originally slated for release on Xbox 360 this year, but both versions will now hit “a few months into 2014.” A video below shows off new footage in the game, as well as a look at Capy’s other game in development, Below. Stick it to the Man, developed by Swedish team Zoink Games and published by Ripstone, will be released on PC through Steam later this month. The game is already available for PS3 and Vita. In the game, players explore a world make of stickers and paper while helping Ray, who has awoken from a bizarre accident and now has a pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain. The dialogue was written by Adventure Time writer Ryan North. The launch trailer is below. The game releases on PC December 13.
