Star Wars: The Old Republic subscribers can now gain early access to the Galactic Starfighter expansion. The content allows players duel it out via space combat, using two teams of 12 players. Various fighter ships are available and include: Scout, Strike Fighter and Gunship. Players can also customize their ships by spending earned Requisition. A video detailing customization is below. Preferred status players will gain access on January 14 and Free players can try it out on February 4.Read over the patch notes here.

Recently-announced free-to-play voxel-based MMO Trove is now offering Supporter Packs for sale. These early buy-in options grant access to the alpha version of the game, and include various amounts of credits to be used in-game’ players will receive these credits back at the start of beta, along with a bonus for every supporter pre-purchase milestone the MMO reaches on the way. Packs range in price from $5 to a cool $2,500, and after running various tests we’re almost certain Trion Worlds isn’t actually tripping.

The Warcraft movie has been pushed back a couple of months from December 18, 2015 to March 11, 2016, according to a Variety report. It’s one of a couple of changes Universal and Legendary have made to their release schedule, and no explanation was given – but speculation blames the new Star Wars movie, which opens on Warcraft’s original release date. We got our first story details on the Duncan Jones-directed film at Blizzcon 2013.

Lineage has made $1.8 billion in the 15 years since launch in 1998, NCsoft has announced. The medieval fantasy MMORPG has become more popular in South Korea over the year, and has millions of subscribers. The game is also available in Chinese, English and Japanese markets. Lineage 2, set 150 years before its predecessor, was released in 2003 and has been played by more than 14 million users, with the majority in Asia. The game went free-to-play in 2011. Lineage 3, known as Lineage Eternal, has been in development since 2011, and a beta schedule will be released around the end of the year. Thanks, Kotaku.

World of Warcraft’s Pilgrim’s Bounty event is back. Full of virtual food and rewards, the festival contains tables filled with Thanksgiving fare outside the major cities where players can sit and gobble down the vittles. Daily cooking quests will be doled out, trainers, vendors, and more will be around and you will earn cosmetic rewards and the Plump Turkey pet for completing quests and participating in the festivities. World of Tanks’ next update will see the debut of Japanese tanks once version 8.10 is released. The tanks come with two tech tree branches extending out to a roster of 14 vehicles total. Four light tanks include the Type 5 He-Ko, nine medium tanks include the STB-1, and the Type 3 Chi-Nu Kai as a Premium medium tank. Version 8.10 will also introduce a major overhaul to the game’s lighting system, with a new approach to how light and shadow works in the game world to improve the level of realism within. The full list of changes and additions will be revealed soon, according to Wargaming.

Three new classes for EverQuest Next have been announced: the Beast Lord, Cleric and Necromancer. This bring the class total to eight when you include: Blademaster, Rogue, Tempest, Warrior and Wizard. In all there will be 40 classes. The news was announced as part of a feature in the latest issue of PC Gamer, which details each of the three aforementioned newcomers along with the Tempest. EQN will be free-to-play and ties into EverQuest Next Landmark. Neither have been dated. Thanks, Massively.
