World of Tanks Update 8.6 is now available in Europe and will roll out to the rest of the world later this month. Southeast Asia will see the update go live on June 20, while American and South Korean players will get the update on June 25 and July 4, respectively. The latest update brings further changes and balance to the in-game economy, as well as adds new SPGs to Tier X. Along with the new artillery units, Update 8.6 also adds a new premium British tank, the A33 Excelsior, as well as a new battle arena-Sacred Valley, based on a Korean setting. A video is below.

EverQuest franchise diector Dave Georgeson has confirmed on Twitter that the next EverQuest game is officially titled EverQuest Next. The game was announced under the same moniker way back in 2010, but it was described as a working title only. We’ve heard very little since, although Massively reports development was completely rebooted at least once, so don’t hold your breath; that said, there are hints we may see it this year.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is still heading west at some point, but the release has been delayed, according to SEGA. The delay in the western release was announced three months back when it was slated for an early 2013 release, so the fact that it is still delayed hopefully means you will still be able to play it at some point. Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode 2 will release in Japan next month, and the game is available on PC and Vita. Thanks, Kotaku.

With the Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn beta now open to PS3 players, a beta participant has posted 676 screens from phase three on Flickr. You can have a look at the massive assortment through here. Final Fantasy is out on PC and PS3 in August and will release on PS4. Thanks, AGB.

World of Tanks will be going into beta for Xbox 360, and Wargaming is accepting applications. An Xbox Live Gold account is required to participate in it. The game will be free-to-play with an XBL Gold memberships when it launches this summer, but Silver members will be able to try out a demo to see if it warrants a Gold membership for them. The Neverwinter beta is coming to an end soon, and it is going out with a bang of sorts. Starting today, a three part event for players in the beta will commence along with double the rewards until June 17. Then, the second phase starts in which players will be tasked with guarding the Protector’s Enclave until June 20. Finally, the third phase on June 19 add stronger and more monster. Those who succeed in the final two phases will be handed a companion, special rewards and other goodies. The event ends when the game launches on June 20. To get you excited for launch, Cryptic has released a new “What is Neverwinter” trailer. Enjoy.

Square Enix has released a developer video for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn which discusses the MMO’s Full Active Time Events, also known as F.A.T.E. These are events in the game which can happen randomly while the player is minding his or her own business running about the game world. The events can come in the form of a huge monster spawn, or a group of such appearing in non-instanced areas. When it occurs, an alert will pop up on the game screen so player in the zone can join in. Find out more below. Game’s out on PC and PS3 in August and will release on PS4.

Wargaming has announced it will offer Xbox 360 players a free trial of World of Tanks to Silver members of Xbox Live. While a Gold membership will still be needed to play the free-to-play game online at launch, this way everyone can try before they buy. World of Tanks will release on Xbox 360 this summer.
