Destiny may release on PC, considering cross-platform saves
Destiny developer Bungie has assured PC gamers that it is looking at the format and that it is also considering the possibility of cross-platform saves for its MMO shooter. Don’t get too excited, as nothing is concrete yet.

Star Trek Online’s Legacy of Romulus expansion is live
Cryptic Studios has announced the Legacy of Romulus expansion for Star Trek Online has gone live. STO players can choose to play as a Romulan or Reman through new story-driven mission arcs, and Denise Crosby returns to reprise her role as Empress Sela. New Romulan ships and enemies have been added and the Klingon faction has also been updated with full level 1-50 progression. You can still purchase Legacy and Starter Packs at the official website here.

Destiny: new CG trailer due today, E3 reveal confirmed in books
Destiny will receive a new CG trailer today, ahead of its June 10 showing at E3. The confirmation was included in a Rudyard Kipling book sent to VG247 this morning. We’ve got photos inside.

Free respec offered for Dust 514 players
While DUST 514, the console based MMO/FPS set in the Eve Online universe, is continuing to receive changes from CCP to its skill system based on feedback from players, some players are not happy with the effects the changes are having on their chosen skills. To help things run more smoothly CCP is offering players a chance to request one free respec.
Players are able to request a respec by emailing the CCP support teamwith any key information. This option is available from now through to May 31st, thanks to Ten Ton Hammer.

DDO update kicks off Shadowfell Conspiracy prequel
Update 18 for Dungeons and Dragons Online releases today in preparation for the Shadowfell Conspiracy expansion pack. The update serves as a prequel to the expansion pack set to release on 5 June and adds two new quests, available to all players, known as the Disciples of Shadow.

WildStar: Settler and Scientist content detailed with videos
Carbine Studios has released additional information on WildStar’s two remaining Paths: Scientist and Settler. Paths have been incorporated into character creation as well as integrated into the core gameplay. You can see how this works in the videos below as you get to know the Scientist and Settler a bit better. There’s some screenshots below in as well. Wildstar is expected later this year and you can sign up for the beta here.

Neverwinter devs issue rollback after Auction House and Astral Diamond Exchange exploit found
Neverwinter players who are playing the beta may have noticed a rollback, after Crytpic was informed by players of an exploit which some players used to their economic advantage. Recall the recent exploit in Diablo 3 which resulted in the Auction Houses being brought down and you get the idea.

Guild Wars 2 has been given a permanent price drop
Guild Wars 2 has been given a permanent price drop, NCsoft has announced. The standard edition will now run you £34.99/$49.99 and the Deluxe version £49.99/$69.99. The new price point, which is $10 off the launch price, is effective starting today. The new price coincides with the conclusion of the Southsun Cove event next week, called Last Stand at Southsun. Obsidian and Allods Online team announce partnership on Skyforge MMO
Mail.ru has announced that its Allods Online team is working with Obsidian Entertainment on a new MMO called Skyforge. The news was announced yesterday during the Russian Game Developer’s Conference. Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart called the project “interesting and promising,” and feels the partnership will be “a great experience for all of us.” Announced in May 2012, the MMO is slated for release on PC in 2014. Guild Launch is exclusive distributor of US beta keys for Dragon’s Prophet MMO
Guild Launch will be handing out thousands of closed beta keys for SOE’s Dragon’s Prophet MMO. Those interested in nabbing one, should head over now, as they are being handed out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Guilds, as I told you before, will be an important factor in Dragon’s Prophet due not only to the PvP, but the Frontier System in general. Guild Launch is the exclusive US host for the game’s beta keys so hurry and get one before they are all out. Dragon’s Prophet is slated for a Q2 release this year.
