American Nightmare inspired by pulp, sci-fi, B-movies
Remedy has released a new developer video for Alan Wake: American Nightmare, and in it the team discusses how Wake’s story this time around is more of a pulp-action-adventure. Drawing inspiration from sci-fi and B-movie classics, as well as urban legends, American Nightmare will have a very different mood and stylization, similar to the TV show in the first game Night Springs, and Wake will find out that sometimes, legends like Mr. Scratch, are real. American Nightmare launches on February 22.

Capcom offers replacement covers for Resident Evil “Revelaitons”
Capcom Unity has advised US owners of Resident Evil: Revelations affected by a cover typo on the game’s first shipment can call 650-350-6700 or email accounts@capcom.com to have a new cover shipped out. The European version, which sports a different cover, seems to have come through unscathed.

Konami confirms Japanese release for Silent Hill HD Collection
Konami’s announced it’ll release the Silent Hill HD Collection in Japan. The pack, which will consist of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, will release on March 29 for PlayStation 3. There’s no mention of the 360 version on Andriasang, but one would assume it’ll be there.
The western release for the collection is March 6.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories aims heavy on combat
Siliconera‘s gotten hold of some new art and a screen of Silent Hill: Book of Memories ahead of Silent Hill March, as well as a tiny bit of new info on the game. Besides the emphasis on combat compared to past games, you’ll be allowed to choose the protagonist’s gender from the beginning of the game, according to this week’s Dengeki PlayStation. Pyramid Head is back in this one as well.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories launches on March 27 for Vita.

Resident Evil 4 Android port hits LG handsets in Korea
Capcom has seemingly released the millionth edition of Resident Evil 4, launching an Android port. It’s currently only available, however, in LG’s LTE U+ ecosystem, which is exclusive to Korea. If, for some unknown reason, you do have an LG LTE handset from Korea, you can get the game now for ₩5,000 ($4.41).
