Square Enix has announced that Hitman: Sniper Challenge, the pre-order incentive for Hitman: Absolution, and Gyromancer – the puzzle-RPG – are now available on its free-to-play platform, CoreOnline. The service now features six games available instantly in your browser, with more games to come. Users can play on the service free for 20 minutes per day, with advertisements included or purchase a subscription for $2.99 per month to get unlimited access to all games without advertising. Ascend: New Gods has had its name changed to Ascend: Hand of Kul. According to a post over on playXBLA, since the game’s reveal at E3 2012, and the “New Gods are no longer new,” and it’s more fitting to have a game with a title which ties in more to the story. Developed by Signal Studios, the F2P game is still accepting beta applications, and will eventually be released on Xbox 360, and possibly Xbox “Infinity” should the rumors prove true.
