Namco Bandai turns part of Shoreditch into Soul Calibur V country
Namco’s released a video this morning of several grafitti artists giving part of Shortditch a Soul Calibur V-themed makeover, marking its release this week with a new grafitti mural. Watch some of East London get spray-canned after the break.

Tekken 3D: Prime Edition hits Aussie retail February 23
Nintendo Australia has slapped a released date on Tekken 3D Prime Edition: February 23. Elsewhere in the world, the US expects the game on February 14, and Europeans should mark their calendars for February 17. Tekken 3D Prime Edition is in fact the only edition, being the franchise’s first foray onto the new-ish handheld, and only its second ever onto a Nintendo console. It comes with a 3D version of the CG film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, too.

Quick Shots: Soul Calibur V DLC screens play dress up
Namco has released a set of screenshots showing off the DLC slated for Soul Calibur V. The content will include wings, face paint, music from Soul Blade and Soul Calibur, animal heads, breastplates, kimonos, and bikinis. A second set is coming on Valentine’s Day, which will include music from SCII and SCIII, and a third round will be released later with more masks and face paint, as well as camouflage, and skull offerings along with music from SCIV and Broken Destiny. The first batch hits on launch day, and each pack will run you 160 MSP/€1.99/$1.99. game’s out next week.

Persona 4: The Arena to launch in Japanese arcades in March
Following live location tests, Arc System Works has confirmed it’ll launch Persona 4: The Arena into Japanese arcades in March. A spring timeline was previously announced, but was never narrowed down until now. The fighter, which will see the cast of Persona 4 as well as Persona 3, will eventually come to PS3 and 360 in the summer in Japan.

Shank 2 gameplay footage shows stabbing and shooting on the docks

Capcom introduces Street Fighter x Tekken online reality show
Capcom’s announced details of a brand new, online-only reality show based around Street Fighter x Tekken. Made in collaboration with IPlayWinner and Team Spooky, Cross Assault will see ten players will fight it out amongst each other to try and win $25,000, with the ten split into two teams of five each representing Street Fighter and Tekken respectively. Everything from training, team challenges, matches, player interviews and more. Unity has more details.

UFC Undisputed 3 demo launching next week
THQ’s confirmed the demo for UFC Undisputed 3 will launch on Xbox Live next Tuesday. And that’s that: no word on fighters or the like that will feature in the taster. A PS3 version isn’t mentioned, although it’s assumable that will arrive at the same time.

Official Ong-Bak game announced for 2012 from Studio HIVE
Studio HIVE has announced it’s secured the license to create a game based on the martial arts movie series Ong-Bak. The game is being developed in close collaboration with the license holder, Sahamongkol Film International, in order to “achieve a much deeper story involvement for all Ong-Bak fans.” An exact date, and platforms were not announced in the press release, but the game is slated for multiplatform release later this year.

Street Fighter X Tekken videos and shots reveal six new characters
Capcom has released a new set of Street Fighter X Tekken screenshots, artwork and videos for your consideration. Posted below the break, you will find a gallery with images featuring Balrog, Juri and Vega from the Street Fighter series, along with Paul, Law and Xiaoyu from the Tekken franchise. Be sure to check out the videos below as well, as there are a couple surprises for you: Mega Man and Pacman. SFxT releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on March 6 and on March 9 in Europe.
