Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony’s Worldwide Studios came on stage to announced the firm has “the largest first-party network”; 14 studios in total and new Ip are being worked on for PS4. 20 new IP will be released for the console in the first year. One exclusive to PS4 is Sony Santa Monica’s and Ready At Dawn’s game which looks to take place in the early 1900s. But has a Steampunk feel due to the weapons. The Order: 1886 is the name of it, and it was rumored a while back.

Far Cry Classic will be available as part of the Summer of Arcade program on Xbox Live. A date wasn’t added in the press release, but it’s the original single-player game. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will also be part of the program. Far Cry will run you 560 MSP, and Borthers $15.00/1200 MSP. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Flashback, and Charlie Murder will also be included. It all kicks off August 7 so expect more titles to be announced. A video is below.

Activision is handing out a rare, limited edition Skylanders Swarp Force toy at E3. It’s called Color Shift Hot Dog and will be handed out to people who stop by the firm’s Skylanders area when E3 opens tomorrow. The figurine is a metallic version of the other Hot Dog figures available. You can get a look at the fella over on Kotaku and through an unboxing video posted by FamilyGamerTV. Skylanders Swap Force will arrive in North America and Australia on October 16 and in Europe on October 18 for 3DS, PS3, Wii, Wii U, and Xbox 360. Screenshots for the game are below.

Developers teasing new games in current games is nothing new, and something Naughty Dog did with The Last of Us in Uncharted 3. It’s possible the developer is doing it again with Savage Starlight, a comic/movie poster which shows up in The Last of Us. Then again, it could just be that – a comic and a movie implemented into a game which takes place in a world where movies and comics were once, well things. You decide. It could be nothing. Alvion will release Malicious Rebirth on Vita later this year through the PS Store. According to the PS Blog, players can expect new levels, bosses and moves, and “almost twice as much content as its predecessor”. A hands-on demo of the title will be available at E3, at the SCEE booth. The game was confirmed for a North American and European release back in March.

Donkey Kong Country Returns designer Tom Ivey has joined Armature, a company founded by former Retro Studios staff members. According to Ivey’s LinkedIn page, he left Retro Studios after 9 years in March 2013. The studio is working on Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate at the moment, and is slated for release on 3DS later this year alongside the console version. Thanks, Nintendo Life.

SEGA has announced its E3 line-up, and the firm is bringing five titles to the expo next week. SEGA’s full line-up includes: Sonic Lost World (Wii U, 3DS) out this Holiday; Castle of Illusion (PC, PSN, XBLA) out this summer; Company of Heroes 2 (PC); Total War: Rome 2 (PC); and The Cave (mobile). This will be the first publish showing of both the new Sonic title and the mobile version of Double Fine’s The Cave.
