This trailer gives an atmospheric introduction to Avalanche’s third-person, open-world Mad Max game. During Sony’s E3 conference, the platform holder said the Road Warrior survivor kit will only be available on PlayStation 3, but the game is coming to other platforms.

During Sony’s E3 presentation it showed off Infamous: Second Son – which only made it harder to hear that the Sucker Punch effort will miss the console’s launch, releasing in the first quarter of 2014. Oh well, at least we can gaze at the new footage and dream.

Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony’s Worldwide Studios came on stage to announced the firm has “the largest first-party network”; 14 studios in total and new Ip are being worked on for PS4. 20 new IP will be released for the console in the first year. One exclusive to PS4 is Sony Santa Monica’s and Ready At Dawn’s game which looks to take place in the early 1900s. But has a Steampunk feel due to the weapons. The Order: 1886 is the name of it, and it was rumored a while back.

Far Cry Classic will be available as part of the Summer of Arcade program on Xbox Live. A date wasn’t added in the press release, but it’s the original single-player game. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will also be part of the program. Far Cry will run you 560 MSP, and Borthers $15.00/1200 MSP. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Flashback, and Charlie Murder will also be included. It all kicks off August 7 so expect more titles to be announced. A video is below.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will deliver a “brutal pirate experience”, Ubisoft promised with its E3 2013 presentation, full of intense naval battles, visceral fighting, and lots of drunken adventures. You’ll board ships, hunt for treasure, conquer forts, explore jungles, raid smuggler’s cove and more. Ubisoft showed two trailers packed with footage from lots of different locations; check out both below along with details from an E3 fact sheet.

Ubisoft didn’t have much to say about Watch Dogs during its E3 2013 presentation, because everybody’s already about as excited as they can possibly for the open-world netsec-’em-up. They showed an extended cut of the trailer leaked yesterday with its incredibly realistic rendering, which you can check out below.

Quantum Break, the Xbox One exclusive from Remedy was shown during the Microsoft E3 conference. The game was announced during the Xbox One reveal last month,and the game is decribed as one which “blurs the line between gaming and TV by integrating drama and gameplay into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. How you play the game impacts the show, and the show informs how you play the game.” Kind of like Defiance. Video is below.

The Microsoft Xbox One E3 press conference started off with a video for Metal Gear Solid 5. Showing Snake in Afghanistan traversing through an open world. It promises the “next generation of stealth”; dynamic CQC and it the video showed new characters in the game all to a tune which sounded straight from a James Bond film. There’s a tag line in it about men becoming demons, and there looks to be African kids trapped in a jail holding out diamonds in their hands. We’ll have the video up as soon as we get it. Kojima cam out on stage to talk about showing more later. A release date has yet to be announced.

Activision is handing out a rare, limited edition Skylanders Swarp Force toy at E3. It’s called Color Shift Hot Dog and will be handed out to people who stop by the firm’s Skylanders area when E3 opens tomorrow. The figurine is a metallic version of the other Hot Dog figures available. You can get a look at the fella over on Kotaku and through an unboxing video posted by FamilyGamerTV. Skylanders Swap Force will arrive in North America and Australia on October 16 and in Europe on October 18 for 3DS, PS3, Wii, Wii U, and Xbox 360. Screenshots for the game are below.

Developers teasing new games in current games is nothing new, and something Naughty Dog did with The Last of Us in Uncharted 3. It’s possible the developer is doing it again with Savage Starlight, a comic/movie poster which shows up in The Last of Us. Then again, it could just be that – a comic and a movie implemented into a game which takes place in a world where movies and comics were once, well things. You decide. It could be nothing. Indie Royale and Arcen Games have released the Arclight Bundle, which starting at $5.43 nets you PC and Mac keys on Steam and Desura for: A Valley Without Wind, A Valley Without Wind 2, Shattered Haven, Tidalis, and AI War: Fleet Command. The later contains all four expansions released, and promises the fifth – the upcoming Vengeance of the Machine available in beta and playable for bundle owners. If you pay $8 or more you will also get nine original soundtracks by Arcen composer Pablo Vega along with the Deorbit album from Disasterpeace.
