Blood of the Werewolf and Slender: The Arrival, the first two titles from Majesco’s new indie label Midnight City, have been released on GameStop’s digital storefront. Not only does this give you yet another option for picking up both titles online if you’re not a fan of Steam, it also means you can wander into a retail store and fork over your $10 in cash, which is handy.

The Strider reboot will be available at retail and via download on PlayStation 3 in Japan in February, Capcom has told Famitsu. The game will also include include original content, a special video, the PSone Classics versions of Strider and Strider 2, and a custom theme. The game will be offered only through PSN for PS4, and it runs at 60fps in 1080p. Strider will be released in the west on the aforementioned consoles as well as PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in early 2014. Thanks, Gematsu.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has been patched on PlayStation 4, unlocking the full power of your HD telly with native support for resolutions up to 1080p. According to the UbiBlog, the PS4 version shipped at 900p with upscaling. The patch also adds in a new kind of anti-aliasing; Ubisoft Montreal developed both these improvements after the game went gold. The PS4 launches in Europe and selected further territories on November 29. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is or will be available on PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

One Piece: Romance Dawn will be released on 3DS in North America in February, Namco Bandai has announced. The game will be made available in digital and physical formats through the eShop and at retail, respectively. The game covers the storyline through the “New World” arc. Dead Rising 3 releases this Friday alongside Xbox One, and below the break we have posted the launch trailer for you. It’s called “Snowflakes”, either because no two zombies are alike, or the undead are falling like snowflakes in the beginning of the video. State of Decay’s latest DLC Breakdown will be released on November 29 through both Steam and Xbox Live Arcade, Undead Labs has announced. It will run you $6.99 and was built according to player requests, meaning it will contain “less story, more long-term survival and increased difficulty.” The update comes with new leaderboards, achievements, and the ability to unlock special hero survivors. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will have an update made available “shortly after” PS4′s release in order to bring the game’s resolution up from 900p to 1080p, Ubisoft has announced.
