Assassin’s Creed 5: Black Flag publisher Ubisoft has released a new developer Q&A video looking at the game’s historical influences, and discussing the pirate setting at large. Ubisoft has also released details of a new Blackbeard collectible figurine that will come with certain – to be determined – pre-order bundles via Uplay and other stockists.

A third Resident Evil: Revelations developer diary as been released, focusing on the shock and panic derived when facing off with the undead. A demo for the title releases on Steam, PSN, XBLA, and eShop, May 14. The game releases on PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 in North America on May 21 and across Europe on May 24.

Ascend: New Gods has had its name changed to Ascend: Hand of Kul
Ascend: New Gods has had its name changed to Ascend: Hand of Kul. According to a post over on playXBLA, since the game’s reveal at E3 2012, and the “New Gods are no longer new,” and it’s more fitting to have a game with a title which ties in more to the story. Developed by Signal Studios, the F2P game is still accepting beta applications, and will eventually be released on Xbox 360, and possibly Xbox “Infinity” should the rumors prove true.
