The Legacy of Kain series has fallen silent for some time. Earlier this month we broke news that Nosgoth is coming via Square-Enix, and it marks the return of the franchise after many years. Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max utilises an actor with an American accent, something which has disappointed fans of the Australian-grown film franchise. Ausgamers asked the developer about the choice and was told that the team wanted someone “generic”, so it has opened a petition to request an Australian actor be brought on board. You know what to do. Mad Max is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag contains ship battles. You know this already, plus, what would be a a game about pirates without such a thing? Have a look at some ship exploding gameplay below. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is due on PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 in late October and early November. PS4 and Xbox One versions are due alongside the consoles.

The Last of Us players have run into a bug which keeps the game from auto-saving. This causes all progress can be lost if it’s not manually saved. Naughty Dog has tweeted that it has addressed the autosave issue, and it was related to servers on its end. “Please quit to XMB and restart the game,” the tweet said. “SP and MP are OK to play!” The issue was not specific to any version of the game, with or with out the day one patch, and further update to the game is needed.

Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie will both be released on Steam in a couple weeks. Hello Games has announced. Both games include Steam Workshop and Big Picture support and the team has “got a couple more surprises planned ,” so expect to hear more on that end soon. Both games drop on June 24.

Batman: Arkham Origins has received a new batch of E3 screens, care of Warner Montreal. The images show DC villains Bane and Anarky raising hell on the streets of Gotham, as Batman connects his fists, knees and legs with the bodies of several men.
