It’s Doomsday in latest Armored Core V video
FromSoftware has released a new video for Armored Core V, showing off lots of mechs and explosions in lovely CGI with dubstep music blasting away in the background. Don’t worry though, dashes of gameplay clips are tossed in here and there for good measure. Enjoy it below. Armored Core V launches in the US on March 20 and March 23 in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Australian classification listing suggests Crimson Dragon as Project Draco’s full name
According to a listing from the Australian Classification Board, Crimson Dragon will be the name of the titled Project Draco from the creators of Panzer Dragoon. The Kinect game, which was announced at Tokyo Game Show in 2010, is starting to come out of the woodwork with the first public hands-on later this month at a special event Akihabara.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss gets launch trailer
Sony’s released the launch trailer for Uncharted: Golden Abyss ahead of its release next week. The trailer’s story-focused and contains a fair bit of gameplay footage. It’s vintage Uncharted stuff with lots of puzzles, climbing and shooting involved. Sony’s lifted the embargo on the reviews of the game, along with the rest of the PS Vita’s launch line-up, as you can see here. Watch the trailer after the break.

Metal Gear Solid 3DS demo launches on Thursday
Nintendo’s confirmed it’ll release the demo of Metal Gear Solid 3DS: Snake Eater for eShop this coming Thursday, February 16. The demo will come ahead of the game’s March 8 release in Europe, a month after it released onto HD platforms with the MGS HD Collection. The 3DS version will come with new controls specifically for the handheld, as well as other features.

GTA IV graphics mod gets bumped to V2.00

Mass Effect 3 demo videos show the first and second missions
A YouTube user named NinjaDancer has uploaded a couple videos for the Mass Effect 3 demo, which he got early access to. The demo is posted in two parts, and contains the first two missions in the game. The user apologizes for his aiming at one point, but no matter, as you get the general idea of what the demo will consist of when it drops next Tuesday on PSN and Xbox 360. Thanks, AGB. [image]

American Nightmare inspired by pulp, sci-fi, B-movies
Remedy has released a new developer video for Alan Wake: American Nightmare, and in it the team discusses how Wake’s story this time around is more of a pulp-action-adventure. Drawing inspiration from sci-fi and B-movie classics, as well as urban legends, American Nightmare will have a very different mood and stylization, similar to the TV show in the first game Night Springs, and Wake will find out that sometimes, legends like Mr. Scratch, are real. American Nightmare launches on February 22.

Namco to release Star Trek movie tie-in during Q1 2013
Namco will publish the tie-in game for the next Star Trek film from Paramount Pictures, which is currently in development by Digital Extremes. The game is based on a stand-alone storyline which continues the adventure of Kirk and Spock as they work together to “stop a legendary enemy race bent on conquering the galaxy.” It was shown for the first time at E3 last year, and is being written by God of War’s Marianne Krawczyk in collaboration with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, writers and producers for the film. The most exciting part? You can co-op as Kirk and Spock. Get your gold and blue shirts out now. The game will be released during Q1 2013, prior to the May 17 release of the film, for all major home consoles and PC.
