A “major Canadian company” has various vacancies available for a “semi open-world action adventure title that responds to player choice and interaction.” Superannuation, which posted the link on Twitter, believes the company to be Eidos and suggests the title could be Deus Ex 4.

Baird & Co analyst Colin Sebastian has said the firm still expects Sony and Microsoft to launch next-gen consoles as early as 2013, especially now Ubisoft has admitted during its call to investors today it was “well underway in development on games for next generation video game consoles,” according to an analyst note.

Report – FarmVille sequel being tested in the Philippines
A report on TechCrunch states Zynga is currently testing the sequel to FarmVille in the Philippines under the codename Big Harvest. Word of the game, currently in beta, was sent to the site via a tipster who also sent along a screenshot of the social game. According to the source, the game contains revamped graphics as well as gameplay changes such as growing crops to feed your farm critters. Zynga declined comment on the game, but said it’s always “looking for ways to bring players the best experience,” and “continuously innovating” its titles. The original FarmVille is staill a major cash cow for the firm, and made up 29% of the company’s online revenue in the last fiscal quarter.

Double Fine accepting PayPal donations, releases episode one in documentary series
Double Fine has released A Perfect Storm for Adventure, the first episode of its documentary series titled which gives you a look at the beginnings of its Kickstarter fundraiser. The firm has also opened up a PayPal account in case you missed out on donating to the Double Fine Adventure the first time out. Those who donate will receive access to the forums, code to download the game on Steam for PC or Mac as well as for Linux or Android.
