Obsidian and Allods Online team announce partnership on Skyforge MMO
Mail.ru has announced that its Allods Online team is working with Obsidian Entertainment on a new MMO called Skyforge. The news was announced yesterday during the Russian Game Developer’s Conference. Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart called the project “interesting and promising,” and feels the partnership will be “a great experience for all of us.” Announced in May 2012, the MMO is slated for release on PC in 2014. Disney domain registrations point to a racing game in the works
The ever vigilant Internet sleuth Superannuation has dug up some more domain registrations, and they pertain to a possibly racing game of sorts from Disney. The domains registered vary from having a .net to .com on them, and carry the monikers DisneySpeedster, DisneySpeedsters, DisneyRacers, DisneyRacing, DisneyKart, DisneyKartRacing, and DisneyKarting. Lots of Disney in there. There’s even a Disney Speedsters Twitter account, but it hasn’t tweeted yet. Sounds, to me, like Disney is possibly looking to create its own version of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing, only with Disney characters. I’m no psychic though.

Ghost of a Tale Indiegogo campaign has four days left, character art posted
The Indiegogo campaign for Ghost of a Tale, the lovely third-person game from ex-Dreamworks and Universal animator Lionel Gallat, is winding down and with four days left. It still needs €6,951 in funding to be a success, and with a fixed funding price of €45,000 the project has earned €38,049 so far. To get the funding ball rolling faster, the game’s page has been updated with some desktop concept art of the main character as well as an undead rat and a look into character creation. Watch Dogs players may not notice others in a multiplayer session right away
Watch Dogs’ Jonathan Morin has explained how the multiplayer will work in the game, without giving too much away on it. Essentially, players will always be in their “own session,” but it can be merged with others to where players will “intertwine.”
