UKIE calls for dev support in face of EU investigation into UK games tax relief

Last week, in was announced that the EU Commission is to investigate the case for UK tax breaks and stated that “It is not clear whether the taxpayer should be subsidising this activity.” Now, the association for UK Interactive Entertainment has asked that UK developers provide evidence to help bolster the case.

The Walking Dead to be distributed in the UK by Avanquest Software

The disc version of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will be distributed in the UK by Avanquest Software. The retail release contains all five episodes of the game series on one disc and is set to launch on May 10 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Box art for each version is below, as as usual is the same barring the logos.

A representative told NintendoLife the delay is designed “to optimise the best possible launch timing of this title within the European market”. A new release date is promised soon. The 3DS title is known as Brain Age: Concentration Training in North America, where it released in early February.
