Witcher 3 dev responds to Xbox One’s DRM backlash
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt RED has always steered clear and slammed the use of DRM In its games, but after the studio’s open world RPG was announced for Xbox One it received a hefty dose of flack. The team has now responded to fan concerns on the matter.

Dust 514 trailer encourages you to Fight Your Own War
Unlike practically every other title sending trailers to E3, Dust 514 is a game you can download right now and play, for free, on your PlayStation 3. I’m not sure why you’re watching when you could be doing that.

CCP believes a demographic it describes as ‘DUST 514-curious’ are buying PlayStation 3 consoles specifically to play the free-to-play shooter.

EVE-VR going to E3, may release in the future
CCP still has no concrete plans for its Oculus Rift dogfighter EVE-VR, but will be showing it to press at E3.

Eve Online: Odyssey expansion may allow for simultaneous training of alt. characters
Eve Online: Odyssey is the game’s 19th expansion, and players have found that you may be able to train alt. accounts on top of your main character for a limited time using the game’s PLEX items.

EVE Online: 3,000 players celebrate 10th anniversary with Flight of a Thousand Rifters III
EVE Online players celebrated the 10th anniversary of the space MMO by getting together and battling it out. While there were planned events organized by CCP, players themselves organized the “Flight of a Thousand Rifters III”. The goal? To destroy Nyx Supercarriers, the largest ships in the game, only using Frigates -which are the smallest. 3,000 players participated, and you can get a look at how things went below, courtesy of Scott Manley. EVE Online Oculus Rift shooter sparks petition for full release
In response to a comment from a CCP staffer, PCGamesN has put together a petition calling for the release of EVR, the Oculus Rift-enabled dogfighting sim demonstrated at EVE FanFest this year. All signs indicate EVR is nearly as sweet as the throes of first love, so get on that. Check out a trailer for the 6v6 title through the break.

DUST 514 will launch on May 14
DUST 514 will launch on May 14, according to a tweet from CCP’s PR account. Last we heard it was due for launch on May 6, but apparently 5/14 is a more appropriate date for the PS3 title. Thanks, Shack.
