With Pokémon X & Y releasing next week, Nintendo has announced a new app which works as a bank, allowing users to store Pokémon caught in Black & White and transfer them over into X&Y.

David Cage has revealed that it’ll be possible to play through all of the upcoming Beyond: Two Souls using nothing but an iPhone. “Not everybody was born with a DualShock controller in their hands,” he said today at Eurogamer Expo 2013.

GTA 5 app iFruit has an update available through iTunes which addresses connectivity issues. It was reported by users last week when the game launched that there were issues connecting with logging into iFruit or experiencing constant “spinners” when loading. At the time Rockstar said it was aware of the issues and working on a fix. More information is available through the link.

If you haven’t yet updated your iDevice to iOS 7, hold off a minute: there’s a chance it could stuff up your Battle.net authenticator. To avoid any issues, follow these simple preventative steps recommended by Blizzard. I probably should have mentioned this to Pat an hour ago. We all know how he feels about his Witch Doctor.

Disney Infinity owners can now download an iPad app which allows them to create toy box worlds and import them into their console to play with the core game. Best part, other than the creation bits of course, is that it is free from now until October 5. The fully playable version has multi-touch controls, over 60 free items to build Toy Boxes, creations can be edited further on the console, and items unlocked in the console are immediately available in the app – which is a full standalone experience. David Cage has announced that Beyond: Two Souls will feature a two-player “Dual Mode.” It’ll allow a second player to control the game’s ghostly entity called Aiden. Dual Mode will allow players to turn their smartphones and tablets into a controller.

That battle.net launcher we’ve heard so much about, the one that makes it possible to log in to all your Bnet games at once and then not do it again for a month, has entered open beta today. What that means is that it works but they aren’t going to force it on everyone just yet. But if you do want it right now, you can get it here.

A new standalone app for PlayStation 3 titled Visualizer, will be released by Q-Games next week. It contains a new set of over two dozen music visualizers to use with your PS3’s music library, and will arrive in North America on Tuesday, August 13 a special, limited launch price of $2.99. Once the two-week launch window is up, the app will be available for $4.99. It will be released in Europe and Asia “shortly thereafter.” Have a look at screens for it on the PS Blog and watch it in action below.
