Xbox One is now host to the free FiOS TV app. Assuming you’ve both an Xbox Live Gold member and FiOS TV and Internet subscriber, you’ll be able to enjoy up to 74 live channels, with no extra hardware required. I don’t understand cable TV at all, being inherently opposed to paying for anything, so go check out Xbox Wire for more details on this proposition. You can do some sweet screen-in-screen stuff with the Xbox One, so it’s probably pretty cool.

Fireproof Games has announced you can now download The Room for free on the App Store for iOS. The waiving of the fee is to celebrate The Room Two which is available through the App Store for £2.99/€4.49/$4.99 on iPad. Those who do not own an iPad can download The Room Two on Android iPhone and iPod Touch early next year. Thanks, CVG.

The Pokémon Bank, which was announced for a December 27 launch back in October, has a new video available showing you all sorts of Poké stuff. When you download the Pokémon Bank, it allows for the deposit, withdrawl and managing of up to 3,000 Pokémon in private boxes. Like a bank. You can transfer from multiple physical and digital copies of Pokémon X & Y, as well as Black & White, Black & White 2, using the Poké Transporter, a linked application received when you download Pokémon Bank. Remeber, download before January 31 and you will get a free 30-day trial. After that it will run you $4.99/£4.49/€4.99 per year.

The Skylanders Collection Vault has launched on the App Store, allowing users to easily manage and explore their Skylanders toy collection on the go – useful when you’re at the shops and not sure if you’re about to purchase a duplicate. With the exception of Austria, Ireland and New Zealand, where it will roll out a few days later, a dedicated YouTube app will be available on Xbox One from day one in all launch territories. The app boasts Kinect voice and gesture commands, full 1080p streaming, and subscription support. YouTube and Microsoft are working to make it compatible with Snap, too. Following the Windows Phone release earlier today, Xbox One’s SmartGlass app is now available for Android and iOS. Grab the free app from iTunes or Google Play. The app allows you to control your console remotely and adds second screen functions including extra content in selected movies and games. Xbox One hits on November 22, in North America and West Europe.
