Sonic the Hedgehog remastered for Android, iOS release this month
Sega has announced a new version of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, remastered for Android and iOS. In a post on the Sonic Retro forums, prominent Sonic fan community members Christian “The Taxman” Whitehead and Stealth were confirmed as the power behind the port, with Whitehead stating the new version is a Retro-Engine remake like that Sonic CD was recently graced with. Expect the mobile release this month for $3; owners of the existing version will be able to update for free. A Sonic 2 remake is also on the cards.

Frozen Synapse hitting iPad in May, Android later
Frozen Synapse will land on iPad in May, according to Mode 7. Announced at the end of 2011, the game will contain Cross-play between iOS, Android, Mac and PC versions and players will be able to start playing on one system and resume their game on another.
