Silent Enemy video released by Papo & Yo developer Minority Media
Papo & Yo developer Minority Media has released a small video pertaining to its Ouya title in the works, Silent Enemy. The game has its roots in childhood bullying, and players will use shapeshifting in order to bring spring to a world beset by an endless winter. It’s expected in late 2013.

Ouya has over 10,000 registered developers on board
Ouya now has over 10,000 registered developers, according to the firm’s head of developer relations, Kellee Santiago. Speaking with Joystiq, she said to expect announcements regarding the console to occur in the next “few weeks.” The latest we’ve heard on the development end, is that Minority Media’s Silent Enemy is in the works for the console, among other high profile development teams.

Ouya tech is one generation out of date, claims benchmarking firm
According to tests conducted by graphics firm Futuremark, the tech powering Android micro-console Ouya is at least one generation out of date in terms of smartphone technology. Still, even if it is out-performed by current phones and tablets, it’s just $99 which is pretty thrifty. You can watch a video of the benchmark process through the break. The Ouya hits stores in early June; Kickstarter backers are already receiving their units.

Planetside 2 mobile app available now
Sony Online Entertainment has released a companion mobile app for Planetside 2, available now for free on Android and iOS. PCGamesN reports the app allows you to voice chat with your compadres, which is kind of amazing if you’re trying to organise whatever the shooter MMO has instead of raids. It also connects to various social media and community destinations, provides information on game systems, has a news ticker, offers leaderboards and stores your character’s stats for bragging rights at the pub.
