Killer Instinct: Xbox One season pass confirmed, paid fight roster discussed
Killer Instinct has received a bit of flack since it was announced for Xbox One, mainly because it’s now a free-to-play game that charges players for additional character. Everyone gets Jago for free, but developer Double Helix Games has argued that the game’s fight roster has been kept small because gamers don’t want a lot of fighters.

State of Decay: survival sandbox mode & Steam version in the works
State of Decay is the monstrously fast-selling XBLA title from Undead Labs, and although they’ve done gangbusters already, the team isn’t stopping just yet. The studio has confirmed it is working on a pure sandbox survival mode and a Steam edition as well.

Rezzed 2013: Space Hulk alpha playable on show floor, new screens inside

Pikmin 3 is “ultimate version” of the original game, Miyamoto says
Pikmin 3 will include all of the features Shigeru Miyamoto wasn’t able to get into the GameCube original due to technical limitations and because the man has a very massive imagination. Regardless, the Wii U romp will see all of those ideas brought back into one charming package of win.

FIFA 14: next-gen build not hitting PC as users have low-spec machines
FIFA 14 is heading to PC this year, but it won’t be powered by EA’s next-gen Ignite Engine. The reason, the publisher says, is that too many people still have low-spec rigs that can’t handle the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game.

Xbox One: 10x more powerful than 360, more with cloud
Xbox One was showcased on Jimmy Fallon recently, and during the show Microsoft’s Phil Spencer said the console was three times as powerful as Xbox 360. Given the leap of 512MB RAM to 8GB those maths simply don’t stack up. Spencer has now taken to Twitter to correct what he said.

Watch Dogs developer Ubisoft Montreal has released a trailer for the game’s ‘Live’ app, which they say will let players turn their phone into a weapon. They mean in the game people, let’s not start bashing each other’s skulls in with our iPhones and Galaxys please.
