Call of Duty Ghosts: next-gen AI development held-up by lack of final console tech

FIFA 14: next-gen build not hitting PC as users have low-spec machines
FIFA 14 is heading to PC this year, but it won’t be powered by EA’s next-gen Ignite Engine. The reason, the publisher says, is that too many people still have low-spec rigs that can’t handle the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game.

Xbox One: 10x more powerful than 360, more with cloud
Xbox One was showcased on Jimmy Fallon recently, and during the show Microsoft’s Phil Spencer said the console was three times as powerful as Xbox 360. Given the leap of 512MB RAM to 8GB those maths simply don’t stack up. Spencer has now taken to Twitter to correct what he said.

Microsoft’s ecosystem across Windows and Xbox formats isn’t encouraging the influx of indie-to-small developments as it should, former Microsoft Game Studios exec Peter Molyneux has cautioned.
