Namco Bandai Australia has confirmed release dates for Ys: Memories of Celceta, which is headed to Europe and other PAL territories courtesy of NIS America. The Vita RPG arrives in-store in Australia on February 21, and will presumably hit European stores on or around the same date. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Network version is due with the PS Store update of the next week – February 25 in Europe. Ys: Memories of Celceta arrived in North America last month; it’s a retelling of Ys 4, and the first attempt at the fourth core entry to be developed by series creator Nihon Falcom.

Bedlam is a book by crime writer Christopher Brookmyre, charting the history of PC gaming with particularly notable coverage of early shooters from companies like id Software. Rock, Paper, Shotgun reports Sussex studio RedBedlam is working with the author to develop a game based on the book. Also called Bedlam, the shooter is coming to Steam in norther summer. Blizzard has added an in-game store to the World of Warcraft client, meaning you no longer need to alt-tab out to the web-based store when you espy a mount or pet you simply cannot live without. The developer is now expected to begin implementing other up-to-the-minute next-gen features like metal tools instead of those clumsy old stone things, and planting fields rather than just wandering around hoping enough food grows in the wild. Pets and mounts are currently on sale, by the way.
