SWTOR’s Gree in-game event returns next week
The ancient Gree starship, Gray Secant, is returning to Ilum May 21-28, and will provide SWTOR players with some nifty rewards such as unique armor, pets, weapons, and the like. Players will earn Reputation points has they “fight the Gree’s grand mission,” and players level 45 and over can jump into the event before it returns at level 55 in the future. Mugen Souls hits PSN for PS3 next week
NIS America has announced Mugen Souls from Compile Heart will release on PSN for PS3 next week in North America. Mugen Souls contains several elements from the Disgaea series, including Disgaea artist Takehito Harada’s character art, as well as a soundtrack by Disgaea composer Tenpei Sato. The Last of Us soundtrack composed by Gustavo Santaolalla headed to Music Unlimited
In more The Last of Us news, the game’s soundtrack is heading to Sony’s Music Unlimited. It will be made available in a “few weeks,” meaning you should probably expect it when the game releases. To get a taste of what to expect, Naughty Dog has released a video featuring Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla who created the soundtrack. It’s the first time the composer has worked on a video game, and you can get an idea of what his process was like below. The Last of Us is out worldwide on June 14.

Rome 2 pre-orders “six-times” that of last Total War game, series had 2 million sales in 2012
SEGA has announced that Total War: Rome 2 is the fastest pre-ordered Total War game to date, with over six times the number of pre-orders its first official week compared to Shogun 2. The Collector’s Edition has also pre-ordered well, with over half the available copies already sold out in the US. The firm also said Total War sales hit 2 million last year “without a major release,” to support the series. Those who pre-order the strategy title get the first DLC, The Greek States Culture Pack, free on the day of release. Rome 2 is out September 3.
