PlayStation 3 firmware update reportedly bricking consoles
Shortly after the release of a new firmware update for PlayStation 3 a few hours ago, reports of bricked consoles turned up. We strongly recommend you hold off installing update version 4.45 until Sony responds to the reports. According to Gematsu the update allows you to switch off trophy notifications via the System Settings menu, which is probably not worth the risk.

You can now pick up a four-pack of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara on Steam for $45. The pack includes four complete bundles of the remastered Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara.
