20 May 2013 marked the 30th anniversary of the first games EA ever shipped. In a San Francisco warehouse back in 1983, all of the then EA employees, including programmers and the marketing department, all came together to pack the first five EA games to be released and ship them off to stores selling Commodore 64 games.

EA Sports trailers show off new Ignite Engine
EA Sports has released some videos showing off its new Ingnite Engine. Feast your eyes below. EA Sports announced a partnership today with Xbox One, but didn’t go into details on what it was – likely it has to do with exclusive content for its UFC, NBA Live, and Madden licenses. The firm announced today that FIFA 14 Ultimate Team would launch on Xbox One exclusively, so the partnerships is likely more incentives such as this; however, the games will also be released on PS4, but whether versions for Sony’s console will also contain exclusive content remains to be seen.
