Microsoft teases 14 Xbox Game Studios reveals at E3
Microsoft's E3 2019 briefing in a little over a week will be chuck full of reveals.
As he often does in the days leading up to E3, head of Xbox Phil Spencer has begun hyping up the Xbox showcase at this year's show. Every year, Microsoft seems intent on one-upping itself, and this year is seemingly going to be no different.
Spencer shared his enthusiasm about what the company has in store for E3, and revealed that the platform holder will be showing 14 Xbox Game Studios games. This blanket term doesn't just mean first-party Xbox games, but also includes games developed in partnership with Microsoft, such as the likes of Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
If you factor in that number of reveals, and add in however many third-party projects also get announced at the briefing, it may just be the biggest show at E3.
Microsoft went on a shopping spree last year, acquiring multiple established development studios, so it's a fair bet these teams will present something at the conference.
We already know that we're getting more details about the recently announced Xbox Game Pass for PC, and it's very likely Microsoft will drop a hint or two about the next generation as well.
