There's a lot of Stranger Things in indie horror title Stories Untold

Stories Untold may not be an action game, but it's inspired by shows like Stranger Things in many ways.

Developer Digital has announced Stories Untold, a horror text adventure from indie outfit No Code. As you can see in the reveal trailer, the game draws inspiration from '80s sci-fi iconography, like we most recently saw in Netflix's Stranger Things series. Even the music is synthesizer-heavy.

Stories Untold is a collection of four episodes, one of which is a remaster of The House Abandon, an atmospheric horror adventure, and the result of a Ludum Dare game jam. The original release of The House Abandon can be found on itch.io today.

The game's poster was even designed by Kyle Lambert, who created the Stranger Things poster - and it shows.

Stories Untold launches on PC February 27, priced $4.99/£3.99/€4.99.
