Missing the Ghost Recon: Wildlands beta? Perhaps this trailer for the live action movie will comfort you

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is going away for weeks and week and weeks, but at least we have this.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands won a lot of hearts during its closed beta testing this weekend, but that just means we're all going to sit around and pine for it.

Perhaps anticipating your sudden bereavement, Ubisoft has commissioned a live action Ghost Recon: Wildlands short, which serves as a prologue of sorts and tells a story from within the cartel you'll be taking down in-game.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands releases in early March for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, which feels a long way off now, but the Ghost Recon: Wildlands movie releases next week, which is a much more tolerable wait. And when it is done, you'll be a whole week closer to the real thing.

So set your mental calendar to February 16, the short's debut date, and feed your anticipation by watching the trailer above. Ghost Recon: Wildlands loves you, my cherubim, and it will come back to you: but first, you must set it free.
