Is The Elder Scrolls Online Twitter account teasing something Morrowind related? Watch the livestream and find out

ZeniMax Online is teasing the next expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, and going by the game's twitter account, it seems like a big deal.

Watch live video from Bethesda on www.twitch.tv

If you look over the Twitter account for The Elder Scrolls Online, you'll notice the livestream embedded about has been mentioned no fewer than ten times when you count the header image.

And then, there's this teaser which was posted on Sunday:

That tweet along with the images has the hamster in our head flying so fast he's about to die of a heart attack. Because it looks like an aerial image of Morrowind's Red Mountain. But, as everyone who visits this site knows, I'm 3/100 on predictions.

But if you recall, earlier this month dataminers dug up what appears to be Vvardenfell content for the MMORPG.

Since the Red Mountain has yet to completely destroy Vvardenfell and Morrowind during the second era which Elder Scrolls Online takes place, it's plausible. The original eruption took place in the First era, and again during the 4th era, in which Skyrim takes place. By that time, Vvardenfell was covered in lava, and the island of Solstheim's southern half was nothing more than a barren land of ash and fire. This is where many of Morrowind's refugees reside during the Skyrim timeframe.

That's all neither here nor there, though, because ZeniMax Online could be teasing something else entirely. We'll just have to watch the livestream to find out for sure. Despite this, I'm putting $5 across the board on Vvardenfell.
