Tekken 7's Eliza shows off all her best moves: punching, kicking, two types of nap

Tekken 7 pre-orders come with Eliza, the sleepy immortal fiend.

Tekken 7 promises to be just as wonderfully ridiculous as its forebears; for all the dramatic back and forth and corporate warfare of the main plot, this is a game where bears, pandas and kangaroos feature on the roster.

By Tekken standards, Eliza's pretty straightforward: she's a vampire. Her other primary characteristic is that she appears to be suffering from narcolepsy, in that she can't control when or for how long she sleeps. This makes her much more relatable than all the cleavage and posing suggests, because who couldn't use a nap?

Having made her debut in Tekken Revolution, the free-to-play Tekken released on the PSN in 2013 and closing in March, Eliza returns in Tekken 7 as a DLC character. She comes as a bonus with pre-orders, in fact.

Releasing in June on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Tekken 7 will have a season pass. That's a first for the series, but Harada said on Twitter that it will allow the Tekkn team to continue supporting Tekken 7 for a year - far longer than the couple of months it normally gets.

All Tekken 7 DLC characters will be new, bonus or special characters like Eliza, he added, rather than old fan favourites essential to the ongoing plot.
