Watch how easy it is to build cities in Conan Exiles and how destructible everything can be

Watch how Conan Exiles will handle player-made cities and the systems it offers to build, attack, and defend them.

Ahead of the game's Steam Early Access launch later this month, Conan Exiles developers at Funcom have released a new video to showcase one more aspect of the upcoming survival game.

Today's video is a look at player cities, and the tools at their disposal to build and defend them. Attacking other player's cities is another thing the game allows, and there's a number of ways you can bring ruin to other player's creations.

Creative director Joel Bylos and lead designer Oscar Lopez Lacalle go on to demo the free-form building tool, and how basses can eventually grow out to form a community for players. Exiles definitely looks more polished than your typical multiplayer survival/crafting sim.

Funcom also released an infographic that summaries the building mechanics available, from resource gathering and the different building tiers, all the way to house decorations.

Finally, the studio will be hosting a livestream later today on Twitch to give everyone an extended look at the crafting and building in the game. The show kicks off at 10am PT / 1am ET / 6pm GMT the official Twitch channel.

Conan Exiles will be released on Steam Early Access January 31, and sometime in the spring for Xbox One
