Someone managed to land those big No Man's Sky freighters on a planet

Since you can now own the massive space freighters in No Man's Sky, the next logical step is to try and land them.

The most recent update No Man's Sky received is called the Foundation update. It added, among other things, the ability to own space freighters and build basses.

These freighters are big, and you definitely can't land them on planet surfaces. Not officially, anyway, as YouTuber Sirian Gaming's video demonstrates (via PCGamer).

In a previous video, the YouTuber showed off how it's possible to force the freighters to land, but in the video above, he actually details the steps necessary to do so. The trick is to call the freighter as you're entering planet atmosphere. You need to be very quick and precise, because if you call it in too late, it will be stuck in atmosphere.
