Today we get our first look at the co-op mode in Dead Rising 4.

Dead Rising 4 has been getting quite a bit of coverage from IGN recently as part of the site's IGN First. It's how we got to see the first 30 minutes of the game recently.

Today, Capcom is demoing the game's four-player co-op mode. Contrary to what you may have thought, this isn't part of the campaign. It's actually a separate mode, as confirmed on this Twitch stream (minute 18), that features four characters from the story.

The IGN video above runs through the main features of the mode, and shows off a couple of the available characters and one of the bosses. It looks fun, but will definitely leave some fans disappointed about the lack of campaign co-op.

Dead Rising 4 is out December 6 on PC and Xbox One.
