The NES Classic Edition officially launched today, and due being sold out almost everywhere, it's inevitable than many of the systems have popped up on eBay, many for hundreds of dollars - which is ridiculous.

Nintendo of America said on Twitter today it is “working hard to keep up with consumer demand," and that a steady flow of additional systems will be made available throughout the holiday shopping season and into the new year.

The company suggested that customers who are looking to purchase one keep checking for replenished stock.
