Whatever you're expecting from this week's Monster Hunter Nintendo Direct, it's not going to include any Switch news

Monster Hunter fans should tune into the next Nintendo Direct. Everyone else? Not so much.

A Nintendo Direct has been announced for Thursday but to be honest there's probably not a lot of point tuning in unless you're a really hardcore Monster Hunter fan.

For one thing it's for Japanese audiences only, with no local equivalents scheduled for Europe and North America, so whatever is being revealed or announced likely won't make it west for quite some time, if it ever does - something Monster Hunter fans are unfortunately pretty used to by now.

For another, Nintendo has already said it won't be talking about the Switch at all. So, you know - not a lot of non-Monster Hunter interest there.

The good news is if you are a big Monster Hunter fan it should be pretty neat. Arekkz has all the details above, so get caught up.
