Things to do now the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta is over - read Zombies comics, play Black Ops for double XP

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has gone away and left us bereft, but you can still get your CoD on. Uh. Let's never use that phrase again.

Now that the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare beta is over (no surprise extension? Huh!), you may be experiencing feelings. Feelings! And not the good kind you get after a killstreak!

We'd better find something quick to fill this void, before we contemplate the terror of existence. Luckily, Call of Duty has not left us completely bereft of entertainment. If you're capable of leaving the house despite your despair, drop into your local comics store from Wednesday to grab Issue #1 of Call of Duty: Zombies, a new mini-series based on the popular co-op mode.

The first issue stars Join Stuhlinger, Misty, Russman and Marlton, the Tranzit team from the Buried map, and explores their backstory, adding all-new details to the Call of Duty: Zombies narrative. It was written by Justin Jordan, and features covers by Simon Bisley and art from Jonathan Wayshak.

If you can't drag yourself from your den of sadness, see if you can lift your exhausted limbs just far enough to grab your controller and fire up Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Treyarch is offering double weapons and general XP this week, right through 10:00am PT Monday October 31.

If you're yet to tick all the boxes in Black Ops 3 hopefully this XP gain boost will be enough to get you over the finish line before Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases next month.

If these twin distractions are not enough to recover form your post-Call of Duty: infinite Warfare beta fugue, maybe try chocolate.
