Battlefield 1 - DICE working on a fix to reduce the number of locked squads

As more and more people pick up Battlefield 1, the locked squads issue begins to annoy the community even further.

You may have noticed that many of the in-game squads in Battlefield 1 matches are locked, with only one or two players in. This is because the game automatically creates them when a group of players enter matchmaking together.

Not many know this, and it's leading an abundance of locked squads in game, frustrating anyone who wants to play the objective. However, DICE has confirmed it's aware of fan outcry, and is working on a fix in an upcoming patch.

The news comes by way of DICE's Striterax, who revealed on Reddit that a fix is indeed on its way.

Unfortunately, the DICE developer didn't say when we would actually be seeing the patch. Until then, everyone should open up their squads.
