Here's a game with a bunch of your favourite Cartoon Network characters beating up baddies

Steven Universe, Adventure Time and other favourites collide in Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers.

Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is a new side-scrolling beat-'em-up with support for up to four players.

There seem to be at least six playable characters: Steven from Steven Universe; Uncle Grandpa from, uh, Uncle Grandpa; Clarence from (uh again) Clarence; Gumball from The Amazing World of Gumball; Adventure Time's Finn and Jake (as one unit); and Rigby and Mordecai from Regular Show (again, as one unit).

Each character has their own abilities which can be combined in various ways to tackle any threat. There are boss battles, and you can reply levels with challenge modifiers to unlock bonus rooms. Here's the story blurb:

When Uncle Grandpa accidentally drives the UG-RV through multiple dimensions, he picks up some surprise passengers in the form of Gumball, Steven Universe, Finn, Mordecai and Clarence! Now they'll have to band together to defeat the evil shard creatures and set things right.

It looks quite similar to Castle Crashers, which the title certainly suggests, but it doesn't seem like The Behemoth is involved in any way; the developer is one Magic Pockets, and the publisher is the awkwardly named GameMill Entertainment.

Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers launches on November 8 this year, on PS4.
