Watch a ship get hijacked in these new Sea of Thieves gameplay videos

Sea of Thieves looks like it's going to be fun. We've said that numerous times already. Apologies.

In these two gameplay videos from Arekkz, he shows you the E3 2016 build he was able to play back in June.

He wasn't able to capture gameplay at the time, however, Microsoft allowed Sea of Thieves to be filmed at at gamescom this week.

The first video features 20 minutes of gameplay from his first session this week. In it, he takes you through some of the features, such as the ability to play a few sea shanties with other players using instruments. There are other aspects to the video, such as the demo's main focus being on ship combat, so give it a watch.

In the next video, Arekkz and his teammates steal a pirate ship. How does that work out for them? You'll have to give it a watch.

Unfortunately in the Let's Play style video above, as you will notice, something went wrong with the audio recording so you won't hear his teammates talk. So if the chatter on Arekkz's end seems disjointed, it's because that is indeed the case.

Sea of Thieves is slated for a February 2017 release on Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.
