Paragon has gone into open beta, so you can go hands-on with these fine heroes

Paragon is now inviting all comers to check out its blend of third-person action and MOBA gameplay.

As you may well know, Paragon is a 5v5 free-to-play MOBA which differentiates itself from the pack with fancy-pants graphics and a more intimate camera, courtesy of the wizards at Epic.

If you're yet to give Paragon a go because testing has been invite-only, it may be time to mosey on over and check it out, as the doors are now wide open. The trailer above celebrates this grand milestone.

According to a press release accompanying this news, Paragon will receive a new hero every three weeks. It's apparently designed to avoid pay-to-win situations, as you can only earn cards in-game, and all heroes are free to play.

If you're handy at it, you can climb the Paragon skill rankings and unlock master challenges. Levelling up in general results in new card packs, taunts and other rewards.
