Quantum Break time-shifts onto Steam this September

Microsoft Studios and Remedy Entertainment will release Quantum Break on Steam next month, and a special PC edition has also been announced for retail.

The Steam digital download will include all the latest updates. There's also the Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition and Windows Store version available for $39.99, per Microsoft. It also supports Window 7 and above, so if you haven't updated to Windows 10 yet, that's good news.

A retail version will be release for €39.99/$39.99 on PC and it too includes all of the latest updates.

Here's what is included in the retail edition:

  • Premium packaging
  • 5 Game Discs (one-time Steam key redemption required)
  • Making of Blu-Ray
  • Making of Book
  • 1 Soundtrack CD (Audio-CD)
  • 2 Posters
  • Quickstart Guide

Per the Steam page, here are the recommended and minimum PC specs:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 68 GB available space

Recommended

  • OS: Windows 10 - 64 bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 4690, 3.9GHz or AMD equivalent
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 390
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 68 GB available space

The Steam version of the game and the retail sku of Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition will arrive on September 14.
