Former Burnout devs begin work on new driving game

It's official, Burnout creators at Three Fields are working on a driving game.

Three Fields Entertainment is a small indie studio made up of Burnout and Black creators. Headed up by Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, the team recently released their first project, Dangerous Golf.

Although Dangerous Golf isn't a driving game, it has quite a bit in common with the crash mode from the Burnout games, not to mention advocating arcady gameplay over realism.

Ward himself revealed the news that the team is working on a driving earlier on Twitter. He did not, unfortunately, reveal any more.

Plenty of replies are naturally very excited about the prospect. Ward always said that Three Fields would work on a driving game if Dangerous Golf is successful. It remains to be seen, however, which Burnout game exactly it's going to be a spiritual successor to.
