As previously reported, the fifth Star Wars Battlefront expansion was announced alongside more details for the Death Star expansion slated for fall.

Rogue One: Scarif will be released close the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which is out December 16.

EA and DICE announced the news during a Star Wars Celebration Europe panel today.

According to the panel, the main bad guy shown in the trailers for the film will be playable and the main antagonist for the expansion.

The new planet in the film, Scarif, will be the prime location of the DLC and as you can see from the film poster below, it looks rather beachy.

Rogue One: Scarif, will be made available two weeks early for Season Pass owners before general release.

The Skirmish mode announced earlier this week will be released on July 21.
