Are you still picking up pieces of your shredded wallet after the events of last week's Steam sale? If so you're not alone - it seems Valve's annual event actually grew compared to 2015. And while it doesn't hold a candle to the record-breaking numbers of Steam's Winter Sale, it's nothing to scoff at either.
According to Steam Spy, Valve pulled in a staggering $236 million compared to last year's $160 million. Steam reportedly also sold an addition 4 million games from 2015, culminating in 37 million game purchases. Within a week.
A more detailed breakdown is expected later this week, but early reports have been breaking down the most popular games. For example, indie darling Limbo ended up topping the charts with 1.1 million sales, likely due to Playdead's follow-up - Inside - launching last week. The full list follows:
