Xbox Summer Sale kicks off next week - rumor

It looks like we can expect the Xbox Summer Sale to start next week, if rumblings on the internet are any indication.

According to ekim on Twitter, who accurately revealed the latest Games with Gold offerings ahead of time, Microsoft will likely announce the sale tomorrow, July 1.

Some of the titles getting a discount include the Metro: Redux Bundle for $7.50, along the usual addition of triple-A games on Xbox One. For Xbox 360 owners, Red Dead Redemption can be picked up for $7.50 as well with many titles in various genres on sale for $10 or less, it seems.

Pricing will be on par with the Steam Summer Sale, with Xbox Live Gold members receiving an additional discount. Windows 10 titles will also be on sale during the week, ekim said.

That being said, take all of this as a rumor for the time being until Microsoft's Major Nelson makes the official announcement.

Microsoft always hosts a summer sale for Xbox users, so on that front, we're confident.

Thanks, GameZone.
