The fifth Star Ocean game is imminent.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is finally, actually happening.
I sort of can't believe this, given how Square Enix mercilessly trolled us all last year. First it opened a suspiciously Star Ocean-y website. Then it made a series of updates suggesting Star Ocean wasn't involved at all. Finally the publisher admitted Star Ocean 5 was happening, at which point I was so confused I didn't no whether to say "thank you" or "you prats".
Anyway, Alex played Integrity and Faithlessness back in May and said it's a bit niche but pretty worthwhile. I guess we'll all find out pretty soon; so soon that Square Enix has sent over the launch trailer above.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness launches next week in North America and a few days later in Europe and beyond, exclusively for PS4 - although a PS3 version was made available in Japan.
