The God of War E3 demo showed a lot more than the action in the centre of the frame.

The God of War E3 2016 demo is hiding a few enemies in the background

The new God of War kicked off Sony's E3 conference last week with a bang, showing a sizeable gameplay demo that looked completely different from anything seen in previous entries in the series.

Although the footage focused on the action and the relation between Kratos and his son, if you moved your gaze over to the side or the background, you'll have seen a couple of well-hidden enemies.

One NeoGAF user took it upon himself to go over the footage more than once to bring our attention to a couple of things we may have missed.

First, there is this floating enemy-thing in one scene in the background.

Then there is flying enemy many probably missed.

Finally, in the last scene where Kratos and his son look over the horizon, you can see the ground moving in the distance. This could mean that's actually a big serpent, which may just be the Midgard Serpent from Norse mythology.
