Here's something Sony didn't bother to show off during the PlayStation E3 2016 conference, probably because it was busy setting off nukes and cackling away to itself: a new trailer for PS4 exclusive Gravity Rush 2.
Why wouldn't you show this? Why would you bury it away on your YouTube channel and not even tell people it's there? Are you ashamed of making some of the most beautiful things in gaming, Sony? See a therapist already.
Anyway, here's Sony's take on the trailer:
Another mind-bending adventure awaits gravity queen Kat as a new danger emerges to threaten the fabric of the universe itself. Still searching for clues behind the mystery of her origin, and with the powerful Raven at her side, Kat must master three unique gravity attack styles as she takes on enemies and massive bosses.
An absolutely lovely new Gravity Rush 2 trailer is always welcome, but you'll notice there's no release date on the damned thing yet; "2016" is all we have to go on. Expect an update at gamescom or Paris Games Week, I guess. Europe is this franchise's spiritual home, after all. Don't make me go look up that word for those ornate Belgian comics that inspired this, it's late in the afternoon on the second full day of E3 conferences.
